Back to reality. Back to the world of dissertation-taking-over-ur-life. And so my spring break update:

KONSTANZ~

Finally met my aunt who lives in Germany after years. As much as i was excited to the tout of travelling there once again but i was afraid that i might be abit uncomfortable and awkward. Luckily though it was a last minute invitation, im glad that mich agreed to go. Most of the time we would slack at her home to watch movies, take long afternoon naps, sing karaoke till 2am, walk around the old town and bought a super nice crumpler bag for only 25euros = S$50!! cheapcheap!! and it's original btw. waha~ the best buy so far. hee~ had traditional german dinner, super nice easter brunch and i got an easter basket for the first time!! hee~

BARCELONA~

A trip which i initially was unsure why i actually decided to go but im glad i did so despite things that happened throughout. Juz to get there really exhausted us tremendously with all the changing of the different transportation - frm bus to train to bus to plane to bus to train. There was no itinerary planned like wat we did for Paris. Instead it's the 'spurofthemoment' decisions on what we wana do and where we wana go. That explains why we always get lost for hours. haha~

Highlight of the trip
-Climbing 5 story of stairs to Pension Bahia (our hostel) which was barely unlivable
-Gordon banging into a lampost
-Leaving Gordon to shop as we go for 3 hours of cycling tour
-Walking and walking and walking coz we got lost for 1 1/2hr to find a magic fountain (in the end we still didnt find it .. haha)
-Got separated with the guys in the Metro
-The extremely fateful incident
-Allergic reaction

These are only the tip of the iceberg .. =P

OTHER SHORT TRIPS~

Mt.Titlis
Followed Mich there coz she wana distribute her survey. And Pat followed us coz she had nthing better to do. hee~ Tout of snowboarding since we're there but it started to snow super heavily. Mayb next time ..

Zurich
This time followed Brainy for her dissertation interview at Park Hyatt. The hotel was extremely classy. While waiting, i managed to read a bit for my dissertation chap 2. haha~ Den we got lost at another side of Zurich. The worst thing it snowed heavily and the the strong cold wind doesnt help. Finally managed to meet up with KX and Norman and we head down to Singapore Restaurant for lunch. A set of meal cost nearly CHF20 which we can easily get for less than S$5!! ohwells~



And so .. my spring break was filled with going everywhere except trying to complete my dissertation. So enuf of fun and lets start chiong-ing ..
