Yup yuP yUp .. first and foremost to all muslims, SELAMAT TAHUN BARU (happy new year!!). Yesterday marks the new year for Islam being the 1st Muharram.
Like there's Chinese new year, there's also the Islamic New Year.
A new year, a new beginning to everything.

Anyway, been working for the past few days except Sunday. And guez wat i did Sunday ... firstly tout of watching DVDs and Tv with sis like for the whole day. But shortly in the afternoon, went to Cold Storage for shopping. We were dead hungry. All my other family members were out to Johor. Anyway, Other than that, i ended up doing my Creative Writing short stories. hahaha .. i was too bored!! At least now im halfway done. *beams ..
But then, i finally stop coz my main purpose to stay at home was to relax and not think of school eventhough my mind was partially there .. haha
And so for the rest of the night watched FLightPlan and The PAcifier. wanted to continue with Mr. and Mrs. Smith but was too tired.
Funnie thing is that i felt guilty lacking ard. wahaha .. but i deserve it didnt i after MICE and FM anf FBO projects that kills me of my sleep.

ok, so there's still lots to do but 2 more weeks of sch + study break + exams = 4 weeks den i'll be free!! sort of ... hahaha

and so juz now went shopping!! for new year clothes. hehe .. not for me .. for audrey aka brainy .. she have to do last min shopping and so i accompany her.

and dearie audrey, no need to blanja me or say anymore thank you. it was great hanging out with u! and of coz i wouldnt let u shop alone. =)

Finally, FM presentation is over except i kno i didnt do well as expected. Couldnt control my voice and well, for me, my part, i did badly. but yay for my grpmates. they did superbly and sadly this is the last presentation with them and soon, the final project will be done. It was a pleasure werking with all of you for it have been tremendous.

Later be going to TP for a talk on OCP and then gonna do the final editing on FBO and printing it.

The day finally came and gone. And this day and date will i forever record in my book of having the greatest day of my life! 24th January 2006!!! reali ..

The concert was fantabulous. having the front row seat, the stage was damn close. they were so near yet so far!! The fantastic fivesome are the best ever group of the history. wahaha ... espacially when they sang all their greatest hits from all albums, it was juz a walk down through memory lane. All of them were gorgeous and handsome-ly... *melting* sighs ...

Since everyone screamed they lungs out and stood and wave and stuff, i joined in the fun. of coz i would. it'S the BSB!! and when can i ever get the chance to do it ever again? muahaha ..

and now im suffering but i so got no complains. My voice sound like a toad and tomorrow is FM presentation! haha ..

But overall the whole concert was wonderful and memorable. Had a blast with nad there. thxs gurl for being there and being crazy as well. been so much fun singing along with them and shouting and screaming .. words cant describe it nor the atmosphere there. You juz have to be there to experience the unforgettable day.

And if i might add, 2 hrs wasnt enuf!! hahaha .. they could go on and i wouldnt mind at all. will post up the pixs soon once i downloaded them.

Oh there also guez who came too .. to those who watch Dia - indonesian drama serial, the guy who played Irfan was there!!! OMG!!! and my sis actually took a picture with him!! NooOoo .. i was so jealous can. wen i get the pix frm my sis i'll post it up den u'll see y im this jealous. wahahaha ...

And after sooo long, met nat and muni. my crazy close secondary sch frens! It was really great. u girls, we muz meet up and really hang out someday wen as u say im not bz. hehe

and yest went to TP for oh so exciting projects. The lab was freaking full and we seriously need a comp! and so ... guez where we went to due to desperate measures .. my hse!! they can so vouch for me wen i say my hse is damn messy .. but b4 that mum wanted to go to TP open hse sooo waited for her at bout 12.30pm den walked ard with her. Only covered biz sch coz after all the LT shows and walking ard it, time was already nearly 2pm and we realli need to do prjs.

From bout 3pm till 7pm, it was FM and MICE and FM and MICE and FM and more FM. but overall it was productive. yup3 ...

For today, act was suppose to help out at the open hse but they nvr called so it means ... im not needed. how sad. but it'S ok coz can finish up prj. lOl ..
And with onli 4hrs of sleep, went to sch for a/cs tutorial. and onli bout 15 ppl turned up. wahaha .. and i didnt do tutorial qns coz i didnt come for lect coz im sick. So i donno wat the paper was taking bout. and unluckily muz present ans on board and oh yay .. mr chng tout i purposely nvr do my werk. of all the weeks of a/cs tutorials and this is the first time i nvr do and this happens. damn it.

After that, suppose to have creative writing but ... i decided to skip at the last min. Did better stuff like print MICE prj and accompany limei eat (so long i last hang out w/ her k) and edit FM prj. So it'S better rite. wahahaha

Ok im werking tml. nOoOoOO .. anyone got lobang for better job? i need a change of werking environment. haiz ..

and all polys are having new courses that is related to resort management. tourism and resort management, leisure and resort management, sports and resortmanagement ..... all because of the coming IR. they wld need people like us and because hospitality and tourism management have limited spaces ... hahaha

Havent been posting my blog for nearly a week now. Too busy trying to finish up all the projects espacially the irritating FBO and FM and too lazy i guez. Everything is due next week .. so rushing can. HaiZ ...

Lets see .. yesterday was tuesday once again. but no more golf club!! yAy!! it was back to RITS for service. i tout it was gonna be so bad. i tout it was gonna be a long long day but .. act it was fun. but all my lovely girlfrens were sick. how sad. Audrey, Su, Huiying and Peiling were all absent. So i was left to go to sch alone, change alone, eat alone and go home alone eventhough nad was there to eat with me. And my dearie siOkkie was there also. =)

Guez wat position they gav me for the service? A cashier and to book reservations via the phone! oH great .. like wat siOk say im stuck behind the counter and stuck booking reservations. hahaha .. but maybi it'S a sign im gonna be doing front desk op in a hotel coz it'S sort of the same thing. wahaha .. ok im crapping. before the start of the operation was practicing on answering the phone and i think i did quite good.

aHem " good morning/good afternoon. Thank you for calling Restaurant in The Sqaure. this is Asy speaking. How may i assist you? " .. hahaha. Anyway, it was great. but next time round can i do petit cafe? hehe .. but it's reali bz outside.

And i cant wait for next tueday. not because of service again or the proficientcy test but because of the BSB concert!!! wahahaha ..

Finally after 2 weeks of MIA for work, came back last sunday. Eric's gone. So sad! really gona miss him. He's really one great manager. And wen i got back lots of people were complaining about the food. But wat can i do? i didnt prepare it or anything. I juz do the cashier-ing and bar area which btw no one complained about the drinks k. hahaha ...

Watched In Her Shoes with sis and su at Marina. Actually wanted to go out with sis my my cuz - Mas coz we read frm her blog that she was dead bored and wanted to watch a movie. But in the end she had to backed out coz her dad wants her to run an errand. Mayb next time k gurl. Anyway, it was really meaningfully nice. Im not sure whether i cried but i was touched. and her shoes collections ... really made me speechless (and in the movies we couldnt even talk). wahahah .. ok. lame ..

Starting tml is TP open hse. but tml going there for projects .. haiz and friday might be helping out HTM booth and sat going there coz a fren of mine is interested in my course and wants meto show her ard. I juz want the goodie back!!! and sat, S'pore idols finalist are coming but no Taufiq. how sad .. but still i might be catching it. HeHe ..

Opera is fun .. no ppl not the singing opera but the fidellio opera. A software that is used by all hotels in singapore to mainly book reservations. As i explored the software ard, there are lots of things to do. really user friendly. One not only can book reservations but can sent msg, traces, requests and lots of things i donno how to describe here. yAy .. an advantage to me wen i apply for a hotel for my SIP!!

rise and shine ppl!! .. i think wen im writing this post, some of u guyz might be still in bed. and guez where i am? in sch!! and it'S in sentosa mind you!!! and i was nearly late to sch!!! oH why why why shd class starts at 8am!! it'S so freaking earli!! not that this always happens but bcoz this lesson is a make up lesson for lodging operation that we missed due to the new year. and yest nite i onli managed to sleep at 2am!

I forgot that 34 starts operations at 6.30am frm the airport and onli reach my hse bus tsop at 7am!! 7 am!!! by the time i reach punggol was 7.15am!! and the journey to harbourfrnt takes 1/2hr!! and so with the advice frm my brainy, i dropped off at outram and took a taxi to sch ... there goes my $5 ... sObsoB ..

I finally did go to the doctor yest nite coz mum told me to. She wants me to ask the doc wats wrong with my back and get an MC for being sick and skipping class. So i ask my lil bro to tag along ... =) .. this is the good time wen u hav a younger brother at home.

So, the doc told me mayb it'S bcoz of my sch bag. the weight doesnt balance well and thus affect my operated area. So frm now on, to sch i'll be using a bag pack eventhough im not into it. I juz wouldnt want my back to go numb and painful again. It's for my own good ... i think. haha

And so today marks the first day of the lesson. Im taking chinese conversation lesson. why? bcoz i need it in this industry!! juz days before, saw the Get Real series on CNA and it shows one story whereby this indian lady whom studied overseas came back but couldnt find a job. Y? bcoz when she told them(the company) she's indian, they told her they do not hire Indians and put down the phone. And finally after years of trying she finally landed a job becoz she could speak mandarine. so... i think for me it'S crucial too. even if i do get a degree overseas, wen i come back, it'S gonna be a tough competition since i do not kno how to speak mandarine and wats more (not that im saying everyone is thinking this way) , im wearing the scarf. so i muz step up and show that im better off than they perceive me to be. yup4 .. my resolution for the year - being able to converse in mandarine. And it'S cool to speak and understand other language since most of my frens are chinese. so no more awkward-ness for me.

Shall not talk any futhur, i shall finish up my werk, prepare for my creative writing presentation ... oh yes, im presenting nxt week during creative writing. will be talking about nick traina. he'S reali an awesome guy. u guyz shd read the book on him - His Bright Light by Danielle Steel (it'S about her son). So im off ... tOodleS ...

In less than 3 weeks time, all projects will be due and there'S presentation to prepare for. oHnOoO.. MICE is slowly on it'S way to completion. yAy but there's some minor adjustment to be made as we decided last min to change things here and there. but all's well. im more worried for FM and FBO. this two projects are killing us softly .. for FM. wat exactly is the problem? he kept on insisting we have alot and alot and alot of learning issues and now we're having lack of time actually doing the project. I kno FILA is important but we all dont think like wat he'S thinking rite. And FBO, ok, i think it'S ok omli we need to reali be abit focus on that.

And yest nite, we had a grp meeting bt 9 to 10.30pm i think. guez hw? nope .. not msn but fone!! how cool is it? haha .. i nvr done it b4 so mind me for being excited. anyway, yup2 .. all of us connected to su hp for a conference call to discuss bout MICE so today we need not meet for prj meeting. hehehe ..

Oh and i am soooo glad tuesday was over!!! nO more deployment to that golf club. Eventhough our last day there wasn't quite bad coz once again we were involved in setting up a banquet thingy for some governmental function later in the evening. =) all the tables and the napkins we set and folded. how cool was dat? in total about 80 napkins was folded. and mind u in an interesting way ok. wahahaha ... as much as i hate deployment, the good things that come out of it was that i knew more of some of my other classmates whom im not close to like Mel and Tian and learnt some new skills. =)

And yest nite, my back hurts. everytime i twist, it'll hurt. i dont kno why. the painfullness is at where i think one of the screw is. Even wen in the morning i woke up, the place still hurts and worst, around it felt numb!! i nearly freaked out. SO i decided to skip creative writing and not go to the doctor oso. but here i am, in frnt of my 'going to break down' laptop, doing projects and more projects. great.

ok, so i still sick but surviving. but i still went out. Went to my grandma hse wih mum, idas and salam. actually, dont wanna go but since mum asked, well, i dont want dissapoint her for not going. so i went.

Wen we were about to go home, sis called saying if i wanted to watch Family Stone with her. OF COZ I WANT!! it'S in my list of movies. lol .. so met her at TM and overall, i like the movie. It's touching to see the family is really close knitted to one another even after their mum passed away. u gotta see it to appreciate it as i do. heez .. i love this kinda movies. though there was not alot of crying parts, but it was still nice .. yup3. =)

And im still dreading tml!!! mayb it'S not bad as it seem. If not for the stupid appraisal form, i wldn't want to go!! ArgHhhh ...

im Sick!! for real!! not nearly going to fall sick but fell sick this time round and during the first day of the new year some more. oH great!
