Updates on this blog is long overdue. Not that i hav nothing to write but everytime i do think of updating, i dont see the point of do so.

Anyhoos, juz some general updates on my oh-so-interesting life. haa~

The intensity of the course is finally starting. Im mentally exhausted to the point that Im even too tired to sleep. haha~

My chapter two wasnt completed wen i handed it up but i hav to coz i didnt want to push back the deadline which will then push back my other projects deadline = more work to do. So i will edit and complete it once i get it back. For now, other deadlines include:
1) dissertation chap 3
2) marketing pair work
3) events car launch project
4) tourism seminar
5) PDP (resume editing)
6) German test

Had a cooking session juz now. yummy samosa and epok2 (curry puffs) .. wee~ though most of the curry puffs got stuck together, it still tasted nice and so was the samosas .. yay-ness.

Found out from my mum, a neighbour of ours got beaten up so bad that he broke both his legs and they hav to infuse metals in them and go for therapy to walk again. I should not rejoice in someone mishaps and not the place for me to say that he deserves it but i cant help it. He has been bugging my family far so long, disturbing the other neighbours and down right irritating. Mayb he finally pissed someone off so bad and got wat he has been asking for.

Note to self: I should get used to not working with ppl i know; I should get used to understanding others way of thinking and logic; I should get used to solving my own problems; I should get used to being myself and not let others judge me for my weaknesses. I should get used to forgetting the past - it's the only way i can move on.

I've yet to post back the little eiffles i got for my family and some swiss made chocs. But i need to find my youngest bro bday prezie first so i could sent everything back at the same time. I have the thing in mind but yet to find the perfect one. hmmm ..

Can't believe im here for 3 months already. impressive. haa~

To start off, yes my lappy is fine and all ready to serve me well. waha~ thankie sis for sending the back up discs ASAP and thankie lots damian once again for reviving it .. haha.

Anyhoos, currently im still drowning in chapter 2 of my dissertation. I have way too much info and im having trouble organising everything to fit into each other perfectly. I know i will have it done but right now im not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. haa~ yes im exaggerating.

And oh my mum gona be laughing at me oh so hard .. with pride .. coz ... im too domesticated already. Im doing my own grocery shopping and cooking! *faints .. haha. I dont cook (unless i feel like it) coz usually mum wld do it and i never bother to kno wat ingredients to use or which condiments or spices to put in and whatever else thats needed. Veges to me all look the same and i cant differentiate any of it. And now im so regretting not learning the so called important stuffs. Been cooking beef soup, ayam masak merah, pasta and will be cooking lauk lemak ayam, fried fish soup, beef rendang, samosa, curry puff .. OMG-ness .. hahaha~ but im craving for nasi lemak, nasi ayam and laksa. hahaha .. will ask mum to tell me the instructions on how to cook all this mann ..

Help me decide. Should i stay in Swiss for my in-training or apply for the one in Dubai? im still undecided. aRghHh ..

Paris trip will be updated soon. My greatest apologies. After i submit my chap 2 i promise.

Event classes starts coming monday = busy busy full day week. haix

Im truly exhausted now. Im forcing my brain to function when it's screaming for me to rest. Been sleeping over at A&J room for the past two nights on their floor coz i stayed in school till very very late at night since im using the sch comp lab to finish off the mkting project. As much as they try to make me feel comfortable (which im truly grateful for), i will always wake up countless of times coz im shiverin to death or my legs will cramp up from the cold. I juz pray i will have my precious lappy fix ASAP.

Long week up ahead with classes from 8am to 5.30pm. As much as i need the strength to face each day, i would pray for my frens instead. They need it more than i do.

I never would have imagine that I will be facing this but i currently am - my precious lappy died on me out of a sudden. To top it off, one of our project is due on Monday and im still in the midst of editting it. I could easily say 'why me' but wat good will it do.

When one of my fren had to overcome the sort-of-the same situation recently, i felt for her. That time i said that if i were in her shoes, i will feel totally lost and for which i admire her patience throughout it all. I was afraid that i will not be strong enuf. Somehow i feel that because i doubt myself, the current situation helps me realise i too can and will do without my lappy for now. It might be a petty problem but being here, your laptop is your life and part of my soul. My everything is inside and for now im prepared to face losing it all. Right now, till everythings goes back to normal, i have to use the school computer that is super slow and the worst thing is im not living in the school dorm anymore. So i guess i have to bring some of my stuff over and bunk in A&J room. But looking at the bright side, thank god wen it crashed, my thumbdrive wasnt affected.

It seems that since i've been here, there have been lots of challenges that i hav to face. And thankfully, i feel that i am closer to god for only he knows whats best for me. I just need to remember that god will not give a burden that is greater than what one can bear. This will help me move on, bounce up and come out stronger than before.

Woke up super early today juz to head out to Geneva. Needed to get our paris train tix at the train's HQ coz there were some hiccups to our bookings. Anyhoos, total time taken to Geneva was 3hrs!! but it didnt reali felt that long. haa~

Missed the 1410 train back to luzern so here we (me & julz) are sitting at McD trying to do our dissertation Chap 1. Since we have free 1/2hr internet access, might as well blog for a while. waha~

Wanted to find the UN HQ here but i hav no freaking idea where it is. The onli coolest thing we saw as the world's biggest fountain ever!!! More or less Geneva is like luzern cum france. Everyone here speaks French instead of German and they cant reali understand English. *faints. Me and julz are totally lost earlier and asking around doesnt help. lolz

Fasnacht started on thursday and it's the day when the swiss ppl will go crazy. It will go on for a few days and more or less it's like haloween. hee~ everyone (young and old) will dressed up in crazy costumes and bands will play non stop and ppl will dance in the streets, drink, eat and be merry. On that thursday, the festival supposedly to start at 4am but we were awaken at 7am wen there were fireworks suddenly 'exploded' just outside our window followed by bands started banging on drums and blowing their trumpets. haha~ to think i only slept at 2am.

That same day, we (me, audrey, julz, kx, patrick and norman) headed out to bahnhof to expose ourself to the fasnacht atmosphere. All shops were closed and the streets were filled with alot of confetti that you cant even see the road or pathway. And yes i got 'attacked' by paper confetti while walking. Suddenly someone tapped me from the back and as i turned, he threw a handful of confetti at my face. I was shocked but ignored it coz that was suppose to happen. hahaha. Had McD for dinner (it's so ex lahhhh) but the fries as agreed by all who tried said it was much much yummy-ier. lolz

The next day was a busybusybusy day. After class, rushed to see Mr Currie coz he's helping us book the train tix and hotel room for us. SOOOO it's official. IM GOING TO PARIS!!! weee~ and after all that, went to the dining hall coz we, the events team have to set up for the fasnacht celebration thats coming to school in the evening. Took about 3hrs to put up all the deco, re-arrange the tables and chairs and all that other stuff and then rushed back to Hotel Pilatus and changed. I didnt kno most of our schmates gona be wearing cool, crazy, fun costumes. so the best i could do was dress in bright yellow shirt and tie a scarf on my head. Wen dinner starts and soon the 10 or was it 12 piece band came, the whole dining area became chaotic in a fun way with ppl clapping to the tempo and dance to the music incld me. haha. Had super lots of fun.

Then today .... it snowed!!! for the first time after waiting patiently for it. My roomie diba suddenly woke me up at 7am coz she saw everything outside was covered with snow. so on our way to sch for brunch took alotalot of pics!! hee~ we were very 'jakun' lahhh .. hahaha. after brunch, it started to rain snow again. so me, audrey, diba and julz decided to take a walk to the lake but halfway down, we stopped to the middle of snow covered field and started to make mini snowman!! hee~ but instead of walking to the lake soon after that, we turned back to sch coz there was a toilet emergency. While waiting, we had a snowball fight with some guys who were there and ended up continuing the 'fight' instead of going to where we planned to. hahaha~

Just this week itself, i truly enjoyed myself lots!! hostel life far away from home isnt that bad after all. but im still looking forward to paris ... here i come!!
