Should have posted this a few days ago. But it had reali been a busy 3 days since i arrived. Anyhoos, prepare for a very long post below. Pictures will be posted up in the next post. Enjoy! haa~

Was reali touched for all who came to sent me off. Surprisingly, some of my relatives from dad side came. Been years since i last saw them. Anyhoos, it was espacially nice for nad z, khai, ain, rad and sue to come down too!!HUGZ
Since my flight was delayed an hour, by 12midnight, most of them had to go off. My family stayed till it was time to go into transit. And wen i started hugging mum and my siblings, i was holding back my tears and trying not to let my voice shake. In the transit area, me, audrey, julz and diba started to tear. It was already the day to leave them for a year. *weeps

I finally reach Swiss safe and on time. Touched down around 7.45am swiss time (spore is 7 hrs ahead). Prepared myself for the upcoming cold weather (-3degrees) that im gona face but surprisingly, the first blast of cold air on my face was refreshing. And i was amazed to see my breath as i breath out. hahaha. Anyhoos, my trip on board the 12.5hrs flight was tiring. very tiring. At one point of time couldnt feel my legs! but the two strangers beside me was nice. DId chatted with them abit. =) At the airport, an IMI bus was waiting for us to bring us to school. The 1hr journey on the road was b-e-a-utiful. The scenery, the calmness of it all awed me. By the time we reached school it seems as though the tempreture got colder.

After checking-in, sort of rested and sort of packing, had our orientation that even bought us to luzern city centre. By the way, my room is quite small. still it's cozy. And my roomie is a hongkie. yup she's nice. thank god. haa~ Anyway, at luzern city centre, we decided to explore the area by ourselves and we ended up in the Old Town and shopping for groceries at Migros (pronounced as Mee Gro). Everything was superbly scenic and wonderful. Feels as if im in the middle ages. The only thing missing are princesses, princes and knights on horses. hahaha.


After alot of walking around, headed back to the 'interchange' to catch the 5.45pm bus home. By that time it was already dark as if it's 9pm! Speaking of the buses, it is always on time. Even if you're late for 1sec, you gota wait for the next bus which is usually 1/2hr (15min during peak hour)!

The next day, most of my classmates decided to go to zurich. And so, went along coz it's better to travel in big groups. The train ride was an hour but the train was oh so comfy (since we paid alot for it.. haha) Arriving there we split into smaller group and as usual i went along with brainy, julz and diba. The shops there reali sell very very very nice clothes and the prices are not bad! as usual, i got hungry again (im eating so much now!!) so we stopped at a cafe cum restaurant cum bar to get sandwitches and hot choco. There we met a msian guy who works there. We made frens with him and he says if we drop by zurich again, he'll bring us around (he says there's alot of sporean living in swiss!!) After alotalotalot of walking and browsing, met up with the big group around 5pm. As usual, it was already dark and the weather was getting colder. Since we couldnt make it on time for dinner in school, some of them stayed in luzern to eat while me, brainy, angie and mich we went the a place nearby sch (which we call the 1,2,3 shops) for dinner and to check out things there. And the quich there is super super big!!! for CHF5+ it was worth it as it also comes along with a serving of salad. yumyum.

And yesterday, since it was saturday and all shops tend to close at 12pm, me, brainy and jul woke up early and meet at 8.30am to head down to luzern city center by ourselves. We're getting used to walking around there i guess. But wen we wanted to head back to sch in time for brunch, we missed the bus at 11am by 1 sec!! and it left without us. *weep .. so we had to wait for another 1/2hr!! *lesson learnt the hard way .. haha. Luckily i had prezels if not i be super hungry!
On the way back, met some classmates who lived in the village. So me and julz decided to follow them to see their crib. And we were extremely impressed!! Mayb me, julz and brainy will move there if there is any available room. hee~

And today, sunday, everywhere is closed!! (there reali isnt any life here!!) so mayb later going to the lake and prepare all my sch stuff for tmr. So far im adjusting well to the place. Except sometimes the cold is too cold!! I have dry skin, chapped lips and my fingers and toes are always frozen!! Nonetheless, i prefer the weather here than always sweating in spore! waha~
