Been MIA since the the 28th November till the 2nd of December. Haha ... no lah, i and my family went on a holiday to Cherating @ Pahang, M'sia. Had a blast there. At first, we only thought we wanna stay there for 3 days 2 nights but then, the environment there was so fantabulous and relaxing that we decided to extend another 2 more days there.

Day 1 (28 nov) :-
Set off at 6am and took the bus to Woodlands checkpoint. From there we took another bus to Johor to buy tickets to Cherating Pahang. Since the bus will be arriving at 10.30am and it was only 9am, we had our snack/breakfast at the nearby MacDonalds. The journey frm Johor to Cherating will be taking about 6 hrs. Till then, i slept the whole journey there.

We arrived at the Presidential Inn resort at about 5pm. After we checked in, we had our late lunch. Then, we went to our room to rest before goin' down again for our steamboat dinner. After that, we spend the whole time at our room watching tv. All of us had an early night since we were all exhausted from our journey here.

Day 2 (29 nov) :-
Woke up early that day for a buffet breakfast. YuMmY ... it was delicious and we ate to our fill. After that, we had a little rest before 3 of my siblings wanted to go for a swim at the swiming pool outside. I too wanted to join them but as they say, it not advisable to go for a swim after a meal. SO i thought to join em' about an hour later but as i was watching the tv, i accidentally fell asleep and when i woke up, it was exactly an hour that had passed. And so, i joined my siblings who were in the pool. When we had enough, all of us get ready to go out for lunch. We ain't eating at the resort coz we gonna wanna go out and experience a bit of the 'kampung' life there.

After eating lunch at one of the warung, we headed for the beach to de-stress ourself. OMG!!! their beach is soooo big and beautiful unlike here in Singapore. The waves were also soooo nice. Had a blast at the beach! After spending time writing our names on the sand and watching the little crabs holes that was everwhere. Then, we just lay down on the sand while watching the beautiful clouds drifting by.

Then for dinner, we decided to have seafood. YummY and so we went to an open air restaurant which is called restorant susah dilupakan which means hard to forget restaurant and it really was. We were the only customer that time and so when the food arrives, suddenly we were attacked by big ugly monsterous bugs that comes from donno where. Me and my two youngest siblings were screaming and jumping around trying to run away from them. Then, one big bug flew into my youngest sis drink and so she started to cry. Therefore, my mum requested that the food we ordered to be taken away and we'll continue our dinner in our room. Hahaha ... it was really the restaurant that is hard to forget!

Day 3 (30th nov) :-
For this day, mum rented a taxi to bring us on tour to the nearby village. I really did see and learnt so much. We saw some ostrich, some kampung houses and even get to see a monkey climb a coconut tree and picking em' of it. Then we get to drink from the cocunut the monkey picked and even eat it. Yum Yum ... my first ever coconut!

Had a great experience that day. Tiring but enjoyable. But before we called it a day, me and siblings went for a dip in the swimming pool till we nearly froze to death! haha .. and so we had an early for the events next day.

Day 4 (1st dec) :- horse riding n beach
Woke up late today. Dont know why but felt so tired. When i do, my two youngest siblings was out in the swimming pool again. This time, i didn't join em' but instead i join my mum who was sitting on the chairs nearby the pool to enjoy the scenery and read my book. By the time my bro & sis were done swimming, it was nearly 2pm and they were nearly as black as charcoal ... haha.

And finally today we went for horse riding. I wanted to do it since day 1. It was really fun though it was scary at first. How i wish to that again ... someday. After that, we went to have our lunch somewhere outside the village and then headed to another part of the beach to see the sunset. Well, sort of. Since the sun doesn't set at where the beach was, we didn't realise it was really late till it was sooo dark that we could hardly see. By that time, it was already 7.10pm.

And today, it was the grand finale of Singapore Idol and we had to miss it. But luckily my bro who was at home is recording it for us. The sad thing was we couldn't hear Taufiq sing and vote for him but .... he won! YaY ...

At night, mum finally after 18 yrs taught me how to make ketupats. Haha ... At first it was quite confusing to make em' but soon i got the hang of it. Now, all i have to do is practice and practice.

Day 5 (2nd dec) :-
With much regret, it was time for us to head home. We checked out at 12pm and then headed to the bus station to get our tickets that we had booked earlier. However, the bus home only arrives at 10.30pm and so we are way way early. So we went to a shopping centre nearby and did some shopping till about 8pm. Haha ...

We soon reach Singapore about 4am and reached home about 5am. When you've been away from home for so long, home is really the sweetest place on earth! Guezz wat we all did as soon as we reach home? ..... watch Singapore Idol! Hahaha
